THE TEAM
The Group Tax team is a collaborative and high-performing part of easyJet’s wider Finance function, made up of dedicated specialists across all areas of tax. In the employment taxes space, we work closely with colleagues across the business, including Finance, HR, Legal, easyJet Holidays and Operations to ensure easyJet’s employment tax affairs are expertly managed, compliant and efficient.
THE ROLE
As a Global Employment Tax Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager, Global Employment Taxes and play a key role in delivering high-quality regulatory compliance, risk management and advice to the business across all areas of employment taxation.
4. Support the preparation, review, and submission of employment tax compliance requirements in the UK and overseas, including PSA computations, employee share plans returns, business visitors, P11Ds and more
5. Monitor legislative changes affecting employee pay and benefits taxation and employer responsibilities
6. Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails
7. Assist with advisory projects covering the easyJet network, including employee benefits-in-kind, expenses, termination payments, IR35 and employee share schemes
8. Support internal reviews for tax authority, legislative and internal policy compliance
9. Assist with tax authority information requests and audit responses
10. Support with maintaining employment tax controls, frameworks and updating internal policies
11. Develop positive relationships with key internal stakeholders, providing support to enable compliant and efficient tax processes
12. Liaise with HMRC and other country tax and social security authorities as required
13. Assist with provision of training and guidance on employment tax matters to the Group Tax team and other functional teams
