Base pay range
* Salary £35,000

Key Responsibilities of the HR Assistant
* Lead and coordinate all work experience and internship applications>
* Support with the preparation of HR documentation e.g. probation letters
* Administer the new joiner life cycle i.e. issue contracts of employment, on‑board new joiners to the HR system, initiate background checks and visa sponsorships, arrange new joiner induction meetings, and prepare schedules
* Conduct Right to Work and Conflicts Checks and flag any discrepancies to the Senior HR Manager
* Take ownership of new joiner trackers and checklists for associates, trainees, and business services staff
* Coordinate leaver administration including conducting business services staff exit interviews where appropriate
* Assist with filtering trainee applications and assist with setting up trainee interviews
* Attending Law Fairs and Graduate Recruitment Events, ordering, and designing branded merchandise for marketing
Skills & Requirements of the HR Assistant
* 1-2 years of experience working within HR
* Experience working in a Law Firm or other professional services
