Overview
Residential Children’s Practitioner Level 2 (G Grade) – £31,537 to £33,699 per annum plus weekend enhancements. Permanent contract with full & part time hours available. Location: Applewood Children’s Home, Norwich. Day and night posts available.
Responsibilities
* You will provide care to the children living within the home to ensure their needs are met and provide opportunities for them to grow and develop.
* You will be required to work days, nights and weekends including bank holidays to meet the children’s needs.
Qualifications
* Ideally hold a Children’s Workforce Diploma Level 3 and have experience working within a children’s residential home.
* In the night you will be required to work mainly at night but may involve occasional day work.
* Highly motivated, resilient and positive with humour, tenacity and empathy to help children and young people with disabilities to flourish.
Casual/E Grade
Residential Children’s Practitioner Casual E Grade – £26,403 (13.68 per hour). Casual workers cover staffing needs and may work toward the level 3 diploma for residential childcare, which is fully funded.
