Contract Systems Engineer - Future Combat Air - 12 Month Contract - Luton (On-site)
We have an excellent opportunity for a Contract Systems Engineer to join a leading defence and aerospace organisation within their Future Combat Air line of business, on an initial 12‑month contract.
You will be part of a specialist team developing advanced systems for key aerospace customers, working on cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) products and collaborating with subject matter experts across multiple domains.
Role Overview:
Support the development and refinement of system requirements
Contribute to system design and interface definition
Assist engineering domains with design and integration activities
Potential to follow the full engineering lifecycle from requirements definition through integration, qualification, verification and validationDesirable Experience & Skills:
Systems modelling and analysis using Matlab and Cameo
Experience working in an agile engineering environment
Exposure to the full engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, test, V&V)Location & Working Pattern:
Based on-site in Luton
80-100% on-site requirement (4 to 5 days per week) due to the nature of the workThis is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile future combat air programmes, developing complex systems in a highly collaborative, expert engineering environment.
