* Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
* Prepare and process payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond promptly to employee queries.
* Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and other statutory requirements.
* Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to streamline processes.
* Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Head of Payroll should have:
* Proven experience in payroll management within a professional services environment.
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage and lead a small team effectively.
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
* A background in accounting and finance is advantageous.
* 3 days a week in office
