At Job&Talent, we are recruiting Shunter drivers to work with an important company in the Worksop.
Shift Patterns:
* 4 on / 4 off - Night shift, from 18:00-06:00
Pay Rates:
* £15.74
As a Shunter Driver, you will need:
* No Class 1 licence required, but experience in shunting is essential
* A self-starter with a positive attitude, capable of working on your own initiative
* Understanding of supply chain operations in the UK
Role of a Shunter driver:
1. Ensure full trailers are taken on and empty trailers take off the infeed docks in a timely manner as communicated by Operations.
2. Ensure empty trailers are on the relevant outbound docks and secured for loading.
3. Communicate with the Warehouse team to ensure drivers and sub-contractors are given the correct trailer for the movement they are scheduled to.
4. Ensure all trailers are moved around the site in a safe and secure manner following all site health and safety procedures, reporting any incidents or near misses,
