Freelance Administrator - Major Construction Project - Peterhead:
Are you an experienced and highly organised Administrator looking for a long-term freelance opportunity on a significant infrastructure project? We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to a major 400Kv construction project based in the Peterhead region. This is a key role ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the project office and supporting the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement and Logistics: Order plant and materials from both internal and external suppliers. This includes arranging transport as necessary and liaising effectively with the Plant Desk to coordinate repairs or replacements.
2. Environmental Data Management: Accurately enter all Waste Transfer Notes and Special Waste Transfer Notes onto the Environmental Database at the end of each month.
3. Subcontractor Compliance: Verify that all new subcontractors possess full and current licenses, and meticulously enter this information onto the project database.
4. Document Control: Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintain project files, oversee the standards library, update the design log, record minutes of meetings, and handle all other project-related documentation with precision.
