Mechanical Supervisor – Engineering Excellence Starts Here We’re seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to lead our maintenance team, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations across all mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Supervise mechanical personnel and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and company procedures. Plan, assign, and oversee maintenance tasks in line with Heidelberg’s MIP standards. Interpret and produce technical documentation, drawings, and plans. Lead fault diagnosis and repairs across a wide range of systems and equipment. Technical Expertise Required: Documentation & Drawings : Ability to read, interpret, and produce complex technical documents and system plans. Hydraulics & Pneumatics : Skilled in diagnosing and repairing fluid power systems. Welding & Fabrication : Proficient in MIG, TIG, arc welding, and metalworking processes. Fitting & Machining : Experienced in bench fitting, turning, milling, drilling, and grinding. Gear Systems : Knowledge of gear reducers and clutches, including disassembly and refurbishment. Large Machinery : Capable of aligning and maintaining large drives, kilns, mills, and fans. Lifting & Rigging : Competent in planning and executing complex lifting operations. Pumps & Compressors : Maintenance of various pumping and compressed air systems. Bulk Handling : Skilled in maintaining conveyors, silos, hoppers, and packaging systems. Maintenance Leadership: Drive preventive and predictive maintenance using SAP-PM. Identify and implement reliability improvements and cost-saving initiatives. Support RCFA, FMEA, and technical evaluations. Provide training and ensure technical documentation is up to date. Contribute to budget planning and investment proposals.
