We are seeking an ambitious SHE Specialist to support our sites across the South West (Cardiff, Gloucester, Swindon). This role offers the chance to make a significant impact within a leading organisation with a family-like environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Implementing company-wide SHE strategies and policies
• Ensuring compliance with environmental permits
• Maintaining the effectiveness of the integrated management system
• Acting as the site expert on SHE topics
• Managing SHE-related visits and audits by EA/HSE
• Identifying high-hazard activities and ensuring controls are in place
• Overseeing SHE training needs and implementation
• Conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
About You:
• Proven leadership experience with strong communication skills
• Ideally holding degree-level qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Science/Management, or a certificate as a minimum
• Experience in root cause analysis
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Confident communicator across all levels
• A team player
