An innovative organisation in the SaaS sector is looking for a Backend Developer. This company builds solutions that help organisations monitor and optimise critical infrastructure, and they are currently investing heavily in modernising their platform following a migration to AWS.
What You'll Be Doing
* Build and maintain scalable SaaS applications using modern Laravel and PHP 8.x.
* Design and implement robust RESTful APIs to support a React-based frontend.
* Own backend architecture and code quality while designing multi-tenant database structures.
* Improve the performance and reliability of legacy systems and handle complex data migrations.
* Collaborate with UX/UI designers and frontend developers within an Agile/SCRUM environment.
What We're Looking For
* At least 3 years of commercial experience in backend development.
* Deep expertise in PHP 8.x and the Laravel framework.
* Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimisation.
* Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies.
* Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
