About The Role
Are you a highly organised logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you take pride in keeping operations smooth, accurate, and efficient?
We're looking for a Logistics Administrator to play a key role in supporting daily transport operations. From driver scheduling and costings to paperwork and compliance, you'll be the behind-the-scenes force keeping everything on track. If you have solid logistics experience and a proactive mindset, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive, no-nonsense team.
What You'll Be Doing
* Creating accurate daily costings and allocating charges across sites
* Building and distributing efficient driver schedules
* Preparing job packs and dispatch paperwork
* Raising purchase orders for third-party hauliers
* Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and live job sites
* Submitting movement orders for wide loads/STGO
* Downloading/uploading tachograph data for compliance reviews
* Supporting transport planning and day-to-day logistics operations
What You'll Bring
Must-Have Experience & Skills
* Previous experience in logistics administration or a transport office
* Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
* High attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach
* Clear, professional communication skills
* A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
Nice to Have (or Willing to Learn)
* Familiarity with the construction or plant industry
* Understanding of Driver Hours & Working Time Directive
* Awareness of FORS standards and transport compliance
