Title: Trainee Estimator
Reports to: LeadEstimator
Based at:Rench Farm, Drumclog, Strathaven, Lanarkshire, ML10 6QJ.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Trainee Estimator reporting to the Lead Estimator shall have the responsibility and authority for assisting production of estimates of all assigned tenders to QTS and shall, at a minimum:-
1. Review Tenders /Client information
2. Attend site meetings as required
3. Produce take-off and collate quotes for materials and from sub-contractors.
4. Liaise with Operational team to develop methodology.
5. Develop cost estimate for individual scheme.
6. Ensure all tender returns meet the clients requirements.
7. Ensure that all estimates produced have been reviewed and checked
8. Assist with reviewing awarded contracts commercial performance against forecasted at estimating stage.
9. Ensure the company is fully aware of the risk and opportunities involved in each tender.
