Duties and Responsibilities
* Provision of Commercial insight and reporting to the Sales team and wider business
* Take the lead on sales and margin financial planning
* Support the Sales team on the evaluation of new business, pricing strategies and other growth opportunities
* Improving our promotional effectiveness through insight and control
* Financial control and governance of customer retro rebates (a significant P&L and value driver)
* Interpretation and communication of product cost movements ensuring inflation is managed
* Continued development of IT tools (including further development and expansion of the business’ BI tool “Qlik”)
* Leading and supporting on other company projects as necessary.
* Management and Development of the Commercial Finance Analyst
Skills and Experience
* Effective communicator with the ability to present concise and clear conclusions
* Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA (an exceptional Part-Qualified accountant would be considered)
* Strong modelling skills
* Able to work on own initiative with strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to influence and build strong internal relationships at all levels.
