OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a site-based contract in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong virtualisation and storage expertise to support a busy infrastructure environment.Key Responsibilities
1. Manage, maintain, and optimise the on-premise infrastructure environment
2. Support and administer Hyper‑V and VMware virtualisation platforms
3. Maintain and monitor Nimble Storage systems
4. Provide technical support across servers, networking, and storage
5. Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance tuning
6. Contribute to ongoing infrastructure improvements and upgrades
7. Ensure systems are secure, stable, and aligned with operational requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
8. Strong hands-on experience with Hyper‑V
9. Solid experience supporting VMware environments
10. Practical experience working with Nimble Storage
11. Proven track record in infrastructure operations and support
12. Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach
13. Ability to work effectively on-site within a collaborative team
