Job Description:
We're looking for a safety-conscious individual to support operational and maintenance needs for our client in Belfast, with a salary of up to £40k per annum and a Monday to Friday shift pattern. Success in this role requires motivation, confidence, and a keen interest in personal development, particularly in Mechanical, Electrical, and Energy management.
Requirements:
1. Trade qualification in Mechanical/Electrical with ONC/OND or higher in related engineering discipline.
2. Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in industrial engineering.
3. NEBOSH/IOSH certification desirable.
Key Competencies:
2+ years of post-qualification engineering experience, preferably in food and drink industrial sectors. Experience with CHP operations, Boiler Compressors, Chillers, and CO2 generation. Ability to work effectively in a Maintenance team and regulated environments.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and operate site utilities.
2. Ensure utilities support clients' production requirements.
3. Support delivery of site services within budget.
4. Adhere to Health, Safety & environmental regulations.
5. Record work on the client's CAFM system.
6. Attend site meetings to plan maintenance.
7. Recommend remedies for utilities plant.
8. Mentor shift personnel and new hires.
9. Identify contract risks and spares requirements.
10. Maintain quality standards.
