What will you do?
As the EMEA FM Director, you will be responsible for the operational execution of facility management services for the client locations in EMEA. You will report directly to the Regional Account Director and work closely with various departments within CBRE GWS and the client organization.
Your main responsibilities include:
1. Providing remote supervision to 7 employees. Monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, oversee recruitment and hiring.
2. Ensuring consistent execution of facility management services across all EMEA locations.
3. Overseeing all financial activities related to the sub-region, demonstrating commercial acumen.
4. Managing P&L performance and associated cost controls for the sub-region.
5. Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with the client's Regional Leads.
6. Generating cross-selling opportunities within other lines of CBRE business.
7. Challenging and improving all aspects of cost and performance.
8. Demonstrating strategic planning capabilities.
9. Developing relationships with clients and their teams to understand their needs through effective relationship management.
10. Utilizing strong communication skills to establish proactive communication, reporting, and working styles in line with client requirements.
11. Managing daily operational activities, including supplier management, technical services coordination, and facility services.
12. Acting as the key point of contact for all facility management matters.
13. Identifying opportunities for cost savings, continuous improvement, and innovation.
14. Reporting on performance indicators (KPIs and CPIs) to measure and enhance service performance.
15. Leading small projects within the client account and supporting other projects and tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate for this role has:
* A bachelor's or master's degree in facility management, real estate, or a related field.
* Experience in facility management, preferably in a multinational and operational environment.
* Excellent influencing techniques at a senior level, strong negotiation skills, and effective networking abilities.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
* Strong leadership skills and experience working in a matrix organization.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and make decisions.
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
