You are exposed to all aspects of the business, this provides the opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams to ensure all software, functions and features across the full vehicle are delivered and implemented against programme timing. As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will support the Principal Engineer to ensure reliability, functionality, and performance of our Electrical systems. As a Senior Integration Engineer for the whole vehicle, you will; Work collaboratively with Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Architecture & Commodity Teams to specify requirements and forecast compatibility of software and feature changes into an Integration Point Release Lead and co-ordinate feature compatibility & software delivery timing reviews to ensure business and customer requirements are met for each Integration Point. Perform complete vehicle level software integration, including regression testing and feature validation. Providing feedback to stakeholders in support of software releases, capturing appropriate data for comprehensive problem statements when issues arise. Facilitate Issue management forums, driving issue management toolsets and co-ordinating investigation workstreams. Be responsible for the co-ordinated investigation of complex debugging, leading and tracking root cause analysis workstreams, ensuring timely closure of issues/implementation to achieve programme timing. Manage and coordinate rig, build and prototype vehicle fleet software and car configuration release planning, integration, and validation. Mandatory skills Knowledge of Automotive Product development cycle with emphasis on software integration, release, test, and validation. Practical experience with vehicle network architectures CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet / DoIP. Proven capability using diagnostic, test, and data logging tools (Vector CANoe / CANape / CANalyser, INCA or equivalent) Experience in interpreting circuit diagrams and investigating electrical circuits. Experience of test and development on test properties such as rigs and lab cars. Experience of diagnostic commissioning and manufacturing processes - VCATS End of Line & WAHA/RORO Understanding of UDS (ISO 14229) Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Cyber Security (ISO 21434) and SUMS (ISO 24089) Knowledge of issue management systems like CCAR / Kanban / JIRA Relevant experience in software / electrical integration or test role within the automotive industry. Full UK Drivers License, with comprehensive driving competence Desirable skills Knowledge of automotive development systems e.g. releasing, ICA / PCA, Programme gateways and engineering sign off documentation. Experience working with Hybrid or BEV architecture vehicles. Builds positive and constructive relationships and is aware of others' needs and uses this to work well together. Notices issues and seeks to address stakeholder and customer concerns. Skilled and accurate planning capabilities, including identifying and managing delivery risks.
