JOB- Head of Business Intelligence
LOCATION- Manchester (Hybrid)
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £80,000 to £100,000 per annum

We are a dynamic, sales-driven organisation focused on delivering data-led insights to drive commercial performance. As part of our continued growth, we are investing heavily in our data and analytics capabilities to support decision-making across the business.
We are looking to hire a Head of Business Intelligence to lead our BI function, driving data strategy and delivering actionable insights to support sales and operational teams. This is a key leadership role based in Manchester, offering the opportunity to shape how data is used across the organisation.
The Head of Business Intelligence will ideally have the following attributes:
• Proven experience leading BI or data teams within a sales-driven or commercial environment
• A degree qualification (BSc, MSc etc.) in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar
• Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
• Experience building dashboards and reporting frameworks for sales performance tracking
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes
• Experience working closely with sales, marketing, and senior leadership teams
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• A proactive and commercially minded approach to data
The Head of Business Intelligence role will involve:
• Leading and developing the BI and analytics team
• Defining and delivering the BI strategy aligned with business objectives
• Developing dashboards and reporting tools to track sales performance and KPIs
• Working closely with sales leadership to provide actionable insights
• Overseeing data governance, quality, and reporting standards
• Managing data infrastructure, including data warehouses and ETL pipelines
• Driving a data-driven culture across the organisation
