MIG Welder / Fabricator – Ripley, DerbyshireAn established manufacturing business based in Ripley is looking to recruit a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their workshop team. This is a long-term opportunity producing high-quality fabricated and welded components for specialist equipment used across a range of industries.This is a hands-on, shop-floor role, ideal for a MIG Welder / Fabricator who enjoys working from engineering drawings and being part of a close-knit production team.Working Hours:
* Flexible Hours
* Weekend overtime available (Saturday & Sunday)
The Role – MIG Welder / FabricatorAs a MIG Welder / Fabricator, your responsibilities will include:
* MIG welding and fabricating metal components from engineering drawings
* Producing fabricated parts and assemblies for bespoke equipment
* Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and specification requirements
* Using workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
* Working closely with other welders and fabricators to meet production targets
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What We're Looking For – MIG Welder / Fabricator
* Previous experience working as a MIG Welder / Fabricator
* Ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
* Experience working with a range of metals and fabrication techniques
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
* Willingness to work overtime when required
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience fabricating components for industrial or specialist equipment
* Background in a manufacturing or production environment
Pay & Package
* From £13.50 per hour
* Weekend overtime available
* Long-term role with consistent hours
