What you'll do
As a Senior Auditor, you'll provide quality, efficient, and effective assurance, influencing business managers to improve controls within a digital and data-driven organization. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assessing risks and controls, conducting testing, and contributing to assurance planning.
2. Analyzing MI and reviewing risk information to identify key business risks and support continuous monitoring.
3. Producing audit reports and opinions that influence management to adopt a risk-conscious approach.
4. Engaging with stakeholders to ensure understanding of business risks through open conversations.
5. Leading or independently delivering smaller engagements as required.
6. Coaching auditors to help them realize their potential.
Qualifications and skills
* Audit or risk management experience with a strong understanding of good risk management principles.
* Knowledge of model risk management principles and best practices, especially related to credit models such as IRB or IFRS9.
* Experience in credit model development or validation, with familiarity with PRA and EU regulations on credit risk models.
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and assess data effectively.
* Strong grounding in monitoring and testing controls.
* Attention to detail in audit testing.
* Stakeholder management skills.
* Effective communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts clearly.
This role is offered for 12 months with potential extensions or permanence. It is a fast-paced, varied position allowing you to build your network across the bank.
