The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in Wakefield. This is a full:time position, starting as soon as possible. As a key member of the schools team, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of pupils. Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons
* Working with small groups or on a one:to:one basis with pupils
* Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom displays
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour
* Supporting pupils with their social and emotional development
* Assisting with the supervision of pupils during break times and lunchtimes
* Providing feedback to the class teacher on pupils progress
* Supporting pupils with personal care if required
* Creating a positive and safe learning environment
* Attending and contributing to staff meetings and training sessions
