Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the main purpose of the role is to service and repair a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles in accordance with Company and Manufacturers Service Schedules.
Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled Service Inspections, servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
* Conduct regular servicing on machinery, plant and equipment as assigned.
* Diagnose and repair complex faults in machinery, plant and equipment.
* Carry out repairs to machinery, plant and equipment, and their components.
* Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment.
* Record information digitally, including photographs on Syrinx App.
* Carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures.
* Work independently with initiative and as part of a team.
Qualifications
* NVQ3 equivalent education or equivalent knowledge.
* CSCS card.
* Preferably experience in a similar role.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Commitment to carry out in‑house Murphy training requirements.
