Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Youth Mentors to work as Teaching Assistants across schools in Swansea, Carmarthen and Llanelli. About the Role As a Youth Mentor, you will: Support students who may face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges Work alongside teachers to create a positive, inclusive learning environment Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring Help students develop confidence, resilience and essential life skills Assist with classroom tasks, behaviour management and pastoral support What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for working with young people Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patience, empathy and a calm approach Experience in youth work, mentoring, education or support roles (advantageous but not essential) Reliability and willingness to travel within the local area What We Offer £89.38 per day, paid weekly Flexible full-time or part-time schedules Ongoing training, CPD opportunities and professional support A rewarding role where you can make a meaningful difference If you’re ready to inspire and empower young people across South West Wales, we’d love to hear from you.
