Fabricator Role
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background fabrication, with the ability to assemble and weld various components using different techniques. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools to ensure high-quality production standards.
Duties
* Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components according to specifications.
* Perform Stick welding and other welding techniques on sheet metal and various materials.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
* Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience
* Proven experience in Fabricating and Stick welding techniques.
* Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
* Experience of working on O&G Projects
* Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to welding tasks.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication processes.
* Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Hours of work
* 07:30 – 16:00 Monday – Thursday
* 07:30 – 12:30 Friday
Overtime
* 16:00 – 18:00 Tuesday – Thursday (6 hours)
* 12:30 – 16:00 Friday (4 hours)
* 07:30 – 16:00 Saturday (8 hours)
Pay Rate
* Basic Hours
* PAYE £18.50ph
* CIS £21.74ph
* Overtime x1.5 & Saturday after 11.30 is x 2
