As we expand into our next phase, were seeking a highly organised and adaptable Finance & Operations Executive to support core business functions and contribute to operational excellence across departments. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, including the COO and Finance Manager, this role provides the opportunity to work across a range of business areas including finance, operations, HR, and marketing. Youll play a key role in optimising internal processes and supporting our dynamic and growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in business support or finance whos looking to grow their career within a high-impact, fast-paced environment. What youll be doing: Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including managing accounts payable, credit card transactions and staff expenses using Xero and Excel Contribute to budgeting and cash flow planning through the procurement and payments process Support month-end reporting and data collation by liaising with teams such as engineering, project management, and product Provide administrative and governance support to HR, assisting with recruitment coordination, onboarding, and internal staff processes Help coordinate funding applications, award submissions, and external engagement opportunities Assist in organising and attending company events, exhibitions, and marketing activities Manage bookings for trade shows and conferences, including travel logistics and exhibition stand setup Monitor shared inboxes, triaging incoming communication and escalating priorities to the relevant stakeholders What were looking for: Self-motivated and detail-focused professional with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn Degree qualified (or equivalent) with around 23 years' experience in finance, administration, or business operations Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities Proficiency in IT tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and basic financial systems (Xero experience a bonus) Experience or interest in technology, cybersecurity or IoT sectors desirable Additional language skills are a plus If you're ready to take the next step in your career and thrive in a role with variety and responsibility, wed love to hear from you.
