We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Estate Worker to join our Property team. Requirements Ensure the estate is maintained and presented to an excellent standard. Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety. Responsible for the upkeep of properties across the estate, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, gutter cleaning and fencing. Weed control on hardstanding areas, yards, tracks and paths by the appropriate spraying of pesticides, in accordance with COSHH assessments. Responsible for keeping up to date records of pesticides/fertilisers used and locations applied. Assist with ground clearance/tidying up on larger projects across the estate. To maintain high standards at our holiday cottages, while effectively managing time constraints on changeover days. Tasks will include hot tub cleaning and ground care of the garden areas. To support other Estate work in relevant tasks and carry out any other reasonable work as and when necessary. Estimating materials and supplies and keeping stocks for the tasks outlined above. Maintenance of estate and hired equipment, records to be kept and schedules adhered to. Person Specification Experience in operating modern machinery. Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety. Proactive and flexible approach to work Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks. Ability to work autonomously when required, alongside effective teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and produce high quality work. PA1/2 and chainsaw qualifications are desirable but not essential, as full training can be given. Full driving licence as travel across the county will be required.
