Support Worker Role at Midway Care Group
We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living skills, developing relationships, encouraging independence, and participating in care plans.
All applicants will undergo a telephone screening, competency interview, and onboarding checks, including DBS and reference checks. New team members will receive induction training at our Acocks Green office, with travel expenses covered.
Some roles may require supporting specific ethnicities or genders, as indicated by genuine occupational requirements under the Equality Act 2010.
Hours and Requirements
* Expected hours: 35 per week
* Desire to make a positive difference in people's lives
* Experience in caring for vulnerable adults (preferred)
Desirable Skills and Qualities
* Care Certificate (preferred)
* Flexible to work weekdays and weekends
* Willingness to assist with personal care and daily activities
* Upholding morals, ethics, and dignity
* Interest in career progression and further qualifications
