Responsibilities
* Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks.
* Installation of new plant.
* Planning mechanical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown.
* Development and upgrading of existing equipment.
* Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems.
Qualifications & Experience
We would like you to be an apprentice trained maintenance engineer who is mechanically bias. You must have experience in a heavy forge environment coupled with good working knowledge of hydraulics (ideally Oilgear Towler) and great mobile plant maintenance skills (manipulator, FLT and OHC). Experience of break downs on presses, hammers, lathes and borers would also be beneficial, however not essential. We are unique due to the combination of open and closed-die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw material to the finished product in one location.
Role & Schedule
The role is working on a rotating 3 shift pattern Monday - Friday with overtime available.
