Job Description
A leading UK-based engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technical projects across multiple sites in the Birmingham area.
This business operates in a highly regulated, electrically intensive environment, focusing on energy efficiency, infrastructure upgrades, and building services improvements. The role is predominantly remote, with regular travel to sites required.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience delivering projects in an electrical or M&E environment
* Recognised electrical qualifications (essential)
* Strong knowledge of energy conservation / energy efficiency initiatives
* Hands-on experience with HVAC systems / air handling units
* Ability to manage subcontractors, programmes, budgets, and on-site activities
* Confident working autonomously and remotely, with regular site visits
Contract Details:
* Outside IR35
* £30–£35 per hour (depending on experience)
* Minimum 6-month contract with clear scope to extend
* Remote-first role with travel to Birmingham locations
