Our client based in Hermitage is looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team! Why you’ll love this role: * Career Progression - work your way to a Team Leader/Supervisory role! * 1 hour paid lunch break - no break deductions! * Join a supportive team in a well-organised warehouse environment * Gain diverse experience: stock management, order picking, and equipment handling Pay & Shift: * Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs per week) * From £25,500 per annum * 09:00am to 17:00pm What you’ll be doing: * Receiving and inspecting goods against purchase orders to ensure accuracy. * Maintaining inventory control systems. * Picking, packing, and dispatching orders with care to prevent damage. * Ensuring correct stock rotation using FIFO principles. * Conducting regular stock takes and warehouse maintenance. * Assisting with vehicle loading and basic equipment conversions. * Reporting safety concerns promptly to your manager.
