Overview
We are looking for a cheerful, conscientious and adaptable person to join our busy expanding Dermatology Department. The role involves working closely with the Dermatology Clinical Consultant team (Specialist DRs, Nurses and Medical admin team) and collaborating with the Cancer service team to ensure efficient, effective and clear pathways for patients.
Responsibilities
 * Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from Black, Asian, and ethnic minority backgrounds, identifying as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development.
 * Widening access (anchor institution) and employability.
 * Improving the experience of staff with disability.
 * Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development.
 * Making equalities mainstream.
The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. The post holder will be based at QEH but may be asked to work at different sites on limited occasions. The role is a busy focal point for receiving patients and visitors, requiring calm, logical, methodical work, multi‑tasking, and effective communication skills.
Qualifications
 * Applicants should have excellent communication skills, be self‑motivated and able to make full use of computer systems, including knowledge of iCare.
 * Common sense, calm under pressure, and the ability to remain composed are essential attributes.
 * Good level of education is required.
 * Keyboard proficiency, good customer care and experience in Administrative and Clerical duties are essential.
