The Pet Nutrition (PN) category is the most vibrant segment in the FMCG sector. With our new program, Digital First, we are placing pet parents at the heart of everything we do. This initiative aims to digitalize various business processes and create future-ready capabilities to achieve ambitious targets in growth and pet parent satisfaction. As part of this agenda, we are looking for a leader who can navigate complex challenges while building a world-class data and analytics team.
Your Role
In this role, you will:
* Provide Technical Leadership: Lead data engineers and DevOps engineers across growth product teams, championing best practices in data engineering.
* Set Engineering Standards: Define and maintain data engineering standards and frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across solutions.
* Drive DataOps Optimization: Implement modern DataOps principles to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
* Ensure Data Governance: Embed governance and quality assurance practices into engineering workflows, promoting trust in data assets.
* Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate with PN D&A leadership and product owners to align data priorities and maximize value through data utilization.
What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with:
* Expertise in Commercial/Procurement Analytics.
* Experience with SAP (S/4 Hana).
* Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, or similar data processing tools.
* Strong technical proficiency in data modeling, SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing.
* Hands-on experience with data pipeline development, ETL processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
* Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Experience with DataOps practices and tools, including CI/CD for data pipelines.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable insights.
