A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Birmingham Area!
With no day ever being the same the Project Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities: .
* Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
* Create detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using AutoCAD (or equivalent software).
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to design and production issues.
* Develop purchasing plans and coordinate with international supply chain teams.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout design, testing, and validation phases.
* Participate in system-level design activities, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* International Travel multiple times a year
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* HNC in an Engineering Discipline
* Proficiency in AutoCad 2d and 3D
* Ability to read and interpret schematics for complex systems integration.
* Knowledge of Revit - highly desirable
* Experience with root cause analysis techniques
