Building Surveyor - AutoCad (Public Sector)
VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a Building Surveyor - AutoCad for 6 months initially with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
1. Assess office and staff accommodation requests, liaise with service users to identify needs and develop minor works proposals based on achievable objectives.
2. Conduct condition and property appraisals of the existing estate and providing subsequent condition reports.
3. Undertake measured surveys of existing buildings to provide electronic drawings for proposed alteration works and asset register data base information e.g. floor areas, volumes etc.
4. Conduct surveys and audits to determine estate condition and compliance with statutory standards and Health & Safety legislation. Compile reports to identify remedial action for compliance with standards and legislation.
5. As required assist in Property Management within the Estates department, e.g. assist with a wide range of estates management activities including valuations, dilapidation's, repairs, licences, easements, way leaves, change of use, assignments and sub- lettings to maintain and enhance the value and use of the Trust's property portfolio.
Requirements
6. A relevant degree or recognised professional qualification or equivalent/ higher qualification in an Building Surveying
AND
7. 2 year's experience of providing property advice in a complex organisation such as local government, health or other bodies
8.
AutoCad experience
9. Hold a full UK Driving licence.
Remuneration
c£35,000 per annum, plus discount benefits.
