The Foundation of Light is seeking to recruit highly motivated individuals to join our Belonging and Social Connectivity team. The successful candidate will deliver intentional one-to‑one mentoring sessions and targeted group interventions tackling attendance, risky behaviours and physical/mental health barriers. They will liaise with the Community Cohesion Manager and project coordinators to develop engaging and unique programmes to be delivered in schools and community settings. They will support targeted programmes addressing careers and academic performance with pre‑NEET young people who are experiencing social isolation, inequality and community tensions.

The base for the post is the Beacon of Light, with the main delivery taking place in outreach sites within schools across Sunderland, County Durham and South Tyneside.
