We're searching for a passionate and driven Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home based on Hayling Island. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well-supported home and lead it to excellence, backed by a national organisation with strong values, resources, and a commitment to care quality.
You'll lead a dedicated staff team, drive outcomes for children, and create a nurturing, structured, and safe environment where young people can thrive.

About the Home:
Located on Hayling Island
Registered for up to 4 children
Currently well-staffed and ready for the right manager to take the lead
Focused on providing a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment

Committed to creating positive outcomes for children and supporting staff progression
About the Role:
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations and regulatory compliance of the home
Provide clear leadership, guidance, and development to your team
Ensure a high standard of care aligned with individual support plans and organisational policies
Lead on safeguarding and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the home
Oversee staff recruitment, rotas, supervision, training, and appraisals
Maintain excellent relationships with families, professionals, and agencies
Drive quality assurance, audits, budgeting and service development
Be part of the on-call rota as required
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential home
Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) - Essential
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation and children's home regulations
Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead inspections and drive quality improvements
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to work on-call and adapt to the needs of the home
