Health, Safety & Compliance Coordinator Location: Kendal
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

D7 Recruitment is working with a leading employer in the leisure and tourism sector to find a dedicated Health, Safety & Compliance Coordinator for their Kendal office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a health and safety professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and growing business environment.
As part of a collaborative team, you will be working closely with health and safety representatives across the business. Health & Safety Policy Support: Assist with implementing and improving health and safety policies and procedures across the business.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the business complies with legal and industry standards.
Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents and near-misses, carry out root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
Training Delivery: Assist with health and safety training and promote a proactive safety culture across the organisation.
Work with various business teams to embed health and safety best practices.
Experience: health and safety-related role (preferably within property, retail, caravan parks, or visitor attractions).
A full UK driving licence.
NEBOSH General Certificate Level 3 (or willingness to pursue this qualification).
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and risk assessment abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Knowledge of ISO 45001 health and safety management systems.
Familiarity with construction and maintenance safety, including CDM 2015.
Project/Leadership experience or exposure to safety initiatives.
