About You
Are you ready to play a leading role in our responsive maintenance team? Are you passionate about delivering excellent services to customers and using your knowledge and experience to manage the delivery of our repairs service in the East region? We need someone who is friendly, professional and an excellent communicator to lead our busy and vibrant team. We’re focused on improving our repairs service and you’ll play a big part in making that happen.
You’ll have experience in the housing sector, with a focus on repairs and maintenance, and be ready to handle a wide and varied range of tasks and situations to include leading a team, collaborating with colleagues across the business, delivering improved KPI’s and customer satisfaction and overseeing a large contract with our partner contractor – no two days will be the same. You’ll turn negatives into positives by listening to customer feedback and you’ll take the initiative and lead on making changes to the service to ensure targets are met and high levels of customer satisfaction with the repairs service are achieved.
This is a new role and is part of our ongoing commitment to improving our repairs service and delivering our Corporate Plan. If you think you’ve got most of what we are looking for, but not everything, we’d still love to hear from you.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 22nd August.
The role would suit someone based in or around Cambridgeshire, managing our partner-contractor in the region. The role is hybrid and homeworking is encouraged, but there is some travel involved, visiting our office in Huntingdon and our partner contractor in Wisbech. There will also be occasional visits to our customers homes in any of our communities.
You’ll need to submit a CV and supporting statement telling us about you and why you're right for the job.
Interviews will take place week commencing 15 September at our office in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
