UK Territory Sales Manager needed in the aggregates industry.
I'm currently working with a market leading US-based manufacturer of aggregate and asphalt testing equipment, which is used internationally by construction contractors and the public sector.
This company are launching a UK division after 5 years of accessing territory via distribution. We’re therefore looking for a competent sales professional who can work autonomously to spearhead direct market expansion across the UK. A background of driving business growth in the main contractor market is essential, and an understanding of the asphalt / aggregates industries is ideal.
Over the long term, you will be best placed to progress into a high-level leadership position covering the UK and EU territories.
Salary: Negotiable base salary depending on experience + company car or car allowance + uncapped and monthly paid commission (£40k OTE).
Location: Field / home based – Midlands location is essential.
Duration: Permanent.

Job responsibilities:
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities within target markets (contractors, asphalt producers, and the public sector).
* Working with the International Sales Director to define and execute the UK’s growth strategy.
* Regular travel as needed across the UK.
* Presenting products and solutions to clients in person, understanding their needs, and providing timely proposals.
* Responding quickly to customer enquiries.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Conducting market research and analysis to identify industry trends and potential growth areas.
* Keeping up to date with industry developments, attending trade shows, and networking events.
* Management of the company’s sales records in a CRM system.
