The Multi Academies Trust Board is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team at Charnwood Primary Academy.

Salary: £25,185 (pro rata), Grade 3
Hours: 25hrs p/week (potential to increase)
Full/Part Time: Part Time

Contract Type: Term time + 6 Inset, Fixed-term/temporary

Role purpose
Part of this role will be 1:1 support for a pupil with learning needs. The successful candidate will need to support a child in the EYFS with accessing provision, delivering personal and small group interventions and some personal care.
Responsibilities
* Providing learning support for pupils across the school.
* Support in sessions and delivery 1:1 or small group interventions.
* Making observations of individuals and feeding this information back to the class teacher.
* Working with outside agencies and implementing suggested actions and interventions.
* Providing personal care and support as needed.
* Developing strong relationships with parents through regular communication.
Key skills and experience
* Teaching and Learning Level 3 qualification
* Experience as a teaching assistant or learning support assistant.
* A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for children.
* An enthusiastic and friendly approach.
* Understanding and proficiency in the core subjects of the Primary National Curriculum.
Desired skills (not essential)
* Experience working 1:1 with children.
* Experience of EYFS.
