Responsibilities
* Responsible for ensuring all depot materials and services are available to facilitate operations and maintenance activities.
* Monitor and maintain the ERP system, providing quality and accurate information.
* Liaise with Category Managers to ensure correct sourcing of components and scheduling activities.
* Monitor supplier performance and produce analytics to drive improvement.
* Review stock levels and set minimum order levels based on various factors.
* Liaise with Procurement and Suppliers to order materials timely.
* Participate in stock taking and control activities, ensuring ERP system accuracy.
* Ensure all activities comply with CAF procedures, ISO, and industry standards.
* Generate analytics and KPIs for material consumption and report to management.
Salary
As a Real Living Wage Employer, we offer a competitive salary of c.£50,000 per annum.
Success Factors
* Proven experience in a Materials Management Role.
* Experience in an Engineering or Rail environment is desirable.
* Understanding of Mechanical & Electrical systems is desirable.
* Clear communication skills.
* Computer literacy with logistic and stock control systems experience.
* High organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Good commercial acumen.
* Flexibility and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
