What you will do as our Project Manager:
You will develop strong relationships with clients, undertake project tasks, and deliver results. You will have the autonomy to work in your own style to achieve the following:
* Demonstrate behavior that ensures your health and safety and that of others.
* Project and programme planning, organization, and control.
* Scope, time, cost, risk, quality, and procurement management.
* Preparation of contract documents, specifications, bills of quantities, and supervision activities, supported by our project directors and quantity surveyors.
* Liaison with clients, local authorities, contractors, and consultants on administrative and technical matters.
* Utilize your technical knowledge of design and construction practices in UK and overseas markets, working in positions of authority and responsibility to ensure quality.
* Provide a key link between project delivery and the client’s organization, coordinating stakeholder input, producing options appraisals, project briefs, business cases, and obtaining approvals.
* Be a figure of authority, trust, support, and security for project teams.
* Manage maritime and infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, including report preparation and active pursuit of technical improvements, within client restrictions.
What you bring:
* Provide leadership, guidance, project management, advice, and support to project teams.
* Communicate clearly and confidently to ensure understanding and delivery of objectives.
* Delegate work effectively and lead within a busy team.
* Negotiate and influence stakeholders professionally and ethically.
* Consult, guide, and advise your team on achieving project objectives.
* Manage projects technically and commercially to ensure profitability.
* BSc/BEng in Engineering or Project Management; Meng/MSc desirable.
* IEng/CEng, MICE, or recognized project management qualification is desirable.
* Demonstrate leadership on complex projects.
* Experience in drafting and managing contracts and in commercial management.
* Awareness of UK law and legal systems relevant to projects.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and construction.
* Knowledge of BIM Level 2 is desirable but not essential.
* Maritime civil engineering experience and awareness of industry procedures are advantageous.
* Strong managerial, commercial, and technical track record.

Location:
You will be based in Aberdeen, with hybrid working possible, but a minimum of 3 days in the office is preferred.
