Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 3 Mobile.Job Overview:We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Mobile IT Support Engineer to provide on-site floorwalking support. This role involves direct interaction with end users to resolve hardware and peripheral issues, ensuring seamless workstation functionality across the organisation.
1. Location: Trinity Road – Halifax
2. Working Hours: 08:00am to 4:30pm
3. Contract Duration:27-Nov-25 till 12-Dec-25
4. Daily Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of
£ PAYE OR £ (via a Hays approved umbrellapany)
Key Responsibilities:
5. Perform floorwalking duties to assist users with technical issues at their desks.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to:Monitor configurations and display issuesDual screen setupDocking station connectivity and functionality
7. Provide hands-on support and escalateplex issues to the appropriate teams.
8. Maintain a log of resolved issues and user feedback.
9. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and support operations.
Key Requirements:
10. Proven experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
11. Strong knowledge of hardware peripherals including monitors, docking stations, and display setups.
12. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
13. Strongmunication and interpersonal abilities.
14. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
15. This is a mobile role, so a driving licence is mandatory.
