We began as a social landlord providing homes in West Lindsey. Now we provide over 7,000 affordable homes across the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber. Our homes include options for affordable rent, Shared Ownership, housing for people aged 55 and over, and supported housing. We are committed to supporting our communities through wider services, taking our roles in our customers' lives seriously and putting them first.

Additionally, over 4,000 learners are supported annually in local communities from Sheffield to Mablethorpe, through a range of programs including entry-level qualifications, arts and wellbeing courses, and employability support via Riverside Training and CLIP, our education providers.

Your role is focused on inspiring people to see possibilities, engaging them to access our services that can help them succeed, and ensuring they receive appropriate support throughout their journey.

This is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2025, based at our site in Mablethorpe.

As an Support and Engagement Coach, a typical day might include:

* Collaborating with local groups, organizations, partners including universities, support services, and internal teams to recruit new participants.
* Developing and implementing new outreach strategies to increase engagement and participation.
* Promoting our services through various channels, managing social media, and local marketing initiatives.
* Providing support needs assessments and facilitating smooth handovers to our wider support teams.
* Managing the customer support journey, assessing skills and barriers, and creating personalized action plans.
* Maintaining an active and welcoming hub environment, managing site operations, and preparing for daily activities.
* Ensuring consistent site coverage during opening hours.
* Following up on inquiries, checking participant satisfaction, and providing additional support as needed.
* Engaging with participants post-attendance to discuss next steps and schedule future activities.
* Supporting the wider engagement team at events and activities as required.
* Building relationships with local support services to provide comprehensive support to participants.

What we are looking for:

* Basic understanding of health and safety and building management.
* Comfortable engaging with individuals and groups.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively, under pressure, and in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of barriers faced by clients and potential solutions.
* Good IT skills and attention to detail.
* A positive, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for helping others.
* A genuine interest in supporting people's progress and resilience in challenging sectors.

What will make you stand out:

* Qualifications in Mentoring, Advice and Guidance, or mental health.
* First Aid certification.
* Experience handling challenging behavior.
* Knowledge of local support services.
* Interest and skills in wellbeing activities, learning opportunities, or employment support.
* Experience with change management and new ways of working.
