Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic advisory engagements with local authorities on commercial real estate-led regeneration, including retail, office, leisure, and mixed-use schemes.
* Provide expert guidance on development viability, funding structures, and investment partnerships.
* Shape regeneration strategies that align with local economic priorities and national policy goals.
* Support councils in navigating planning, land assembly, and stakeholder engagement.
* Collaborate with internal specialists in housing, transport, energy, and finance.
* Represent the organisation at senior forums, industry events, and government roundtables.
The Successful Applicant

Essential Skills & Experience
* 10+ years' experience in commercial real estate development, regeneration, or investment advisory.
* Proven track record delivering or advising on complex, place-based regeneration projects in partnership with local authorities.
* Strong understanding of public-private development models, viability assessments, and funding mechanisms (e.g. JV structures, institutional capital, levelling-up funds).
* Deep knowledge of local government planning, land use policy, and economic development.
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
