CNC Programmer Dudley£16.00 – £19.00 per hour (DOE)Full-Time | PermanentWe are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer to join a well-established and growing precision engineering company based in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, forward-thinking business offering competitive pay and long-term stability.The RoleAs a CNC Lathe Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances.

o Your duties will include:

o Programming CNC lathes (Fanuc controls preferred) from technical drawings
*
o Setting and operating machines to produce small and medium batch work
*
o Editing, modifying, and optimising existing programs to improve efficiency
*
o Selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures
*
o Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
*
o Conducting first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
*
o Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, and thread gauges
*
o Ensuring machines are maintained and kept in safe working order
*
o Working collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets

o To be successful in this role, you will have:

o Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator
*
o Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls (essential)
*
o Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
*
o Experience working to tight tolerances
*
o Good understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds
*
o A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
*
o A proactive and reliable work ethic
Experience working within precision engineering or subcontract environments would be highly advantageous.What’s On Offer
