Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a well‑regarded two‑form entry primary school in Hounslow to recruit a KS2 Teacher for maternity cover starting January 2025. This role will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension or a permanent appointment.
The school is set within modern facilities, including bright classrooms, a large playing field, and a well‑equipped ICT suite. It holds a strong reputation for pastoral care and inclusion, and pupils are described as enthusiastic and eager to learn. Role Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning to a KS2 class
* Differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
* Track pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with parallel teachers and teaching assistants
* Attend meetings, parents’ evenings, and professional development sessions
* Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) recognised in the UK
* Prior experience teaching in KS2
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
* A reflective practitioner who seeks continual improvement
* ECTs welcome with good placement experience
