Job description

The successful applicant will support the certification of large aircraft modifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the global engineering services team to identify requirements and solutions for active and upcoming projects.
2. Lead and contribute to design activities ensuring compliance with design requirements, addressing certification and integration issues relating to electrical/avionic equipment and systems changes as part of large aircraft modifications.
3. Lead certification activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including on-wing test witnessing.
4. Compile and check engineering documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness, including: Wiring diagrams Wire routing installation drawings, and harness fabrication drawings Service Bulletins / accomplishment instructions Aircraft and component manual ICA supplements
5. Compile and check certification documents to demonstrate compliance with airworthiness requirements, including: Electrical load analysis documents Test plans and reports Compliance Statements System Safety, Equipment Qualification, and EWIS documents Certification Programmes
6. Act as the representative during customer meetings, providing additional on-site support during the embodiment phase of the project.
This role may require occasional national and/or international travel to visit teammates, customers, and subcontractors.
Job Requirements:
7. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Avionics or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
8. Experience within an EASA Design Organisation (or equivalent).
9. Knowledge and experience of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements including (E)TSO, CS-25, JAR-25, and FAR-25.
10. Experience of aircraft interior and/or avionic modifications.
11. Expertise in large and complex aircraft modification projects.
12. High level of attention to detail and professional integrity.
13. Ability to work on multiple programmes with varying levels of requirements efficiently and effectively.
14. Ability to prioritise workloads and show flexibility to the changing situations and demands.
15. Willingness to help develop, mentor, and coach less experienced staff.
16. Experience navigating OEM data systems for specifications and standards.
