TRS Staffing have a fantastic opportunity for an Inter Array Cable (IAC) Client Representative.
The role will see you be present onboard the Contractor’s CLV and observe their activities associated with load-out, transportation and installation of the Array Cables and CPS providing feedback to the onshore teams.
Experience
1. Experience (minimum of 5-years) providing similar services in offshore renewables (preferably under an EPCI Contract environment);
2. A strong working knowledge and understanding of the appointed rolls under CDM (2015) and UK Health and Safety requirements.
3. An excellent understanding of cable installation practices including but not limited to monopile aperture & J-Tube pull-ins, quadrant use for 2nd ends, marine management, and inspection experience.
4. Working knowledge of offshore construction contracts [EPCI preferable] with a good understanding of the contractual implications of breakdown, weather downtime, etc….
5. Proven experience in cable installation on UK windfarms is essential.
6. Experience in quality assurance activities and interface with Marine Warranty Surveyors.
7. An ability to read and understand technical documents and observe operations to ensure that the Contractor is working to their accepted documentation.
8. Previous experience in and the ability to understand consenting conditions such that the Employers requirement can be monitored whilst offshore.
9. Conversant with international codes, procedures, and specifications relevant to offshore construction activities.

15. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with others (shall be fluent in spoken and written English)
Experience in the following desirable but not essential:
16. Experience in Wind Turbine Generator installation and familiarity with associated installation systems and tools.
17. Experience in Termination of High Voltage cables, specifically Pfisterer types.
18. Experience of working with electrical safety rules, permitting and safe systems of work.

24. Helicopter Under Water Escape Training (HUET)
25. XBR” Shoulder measurement
26. Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) certification.
27. Current valid medical certificate for offshore work. The accepted medicals as defined in the CPP is Oil and Gas UK (OGUK). Please note that OGUK must be accompanied by an additional fitness assessment such as the "Chester Step Test" or equivalent.
28. IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
29. Evidence of CDM competency
30. IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet), experience using inspection/auditing software in a construction environment desirable
