Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, showcasing creativity and attention to detail
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
* Develop new recipes and menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
* Train new kitchen staff on procedures, techniques, and safety protocols
Skills
* Proven experience in supervising kitchen operations and managing teams
* Strong background in food production with a focus on quality and presentation
* Excellent culinary skills with experience in various cooking techniques
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
* Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills
